Deep within the forests of Barra’duum (Barra-doom), beyond the edges of the ancient woodland, dormant knights lie waiting warriors not born of this era, but towering beasts with claws greater than a greatsword with metal as strong as the thickest dragonscales. Those deemed a threat to the lands they call home rarely walk back out to tell their tales. Yet the bond between the owls and these ancient wonders is believed to be a miracle bestowed upon them a sacred reward for the owls’ struggle for sentience. And so, while kingdoms rise and fall beyond the trees, the Guardians of Barra’duum are ever watchful, slumbering beneath root and ruin forever guarding.
